Hello, my name is Ruth Rosa, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT125320). I specialize in working with adults and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, past trauma, life challenges, and family dynamics. I typically work with clients struggling with a variety of challenges, including anxiety or depressive disorders, past or current trauma, and difficulties within family dynamics. Common theoretical approaches I use in my work include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness Approaches, healthy coping strategies, stress management, and family-focused interventions. I am currently working in a telehealth setting where I provide a warm, nonjudgmental, and empathetic environment to allow my clients to feel safe and secure in knowing that they are safe in sharing and exploring areas in their life that may be impacting their overall well-being. I benefited so much from learning about myself and was excited to start my journey of becoming an advocate for others' mental health. I aspire to help others become confident in themselves, as well as help with developing tools that will provide the ability for clients to feel successful at managing difficulties in their life.
