About

Along life's path, we all encounter challenges and sometimes experiences can leave us feeling depressed, anxious, traumatized, and stressed due to life changes. I hope that within the therapeutic relationship, you feel safe, validated, and empowered to explore and face those challenges; healing, and growing by building on your strengths to accomplish your goals. I offer in-person or telehealth counseling in English or Spanish.

I see adults, couples, adolescents, or parents seeking support for their children. Some of the treatment modalities I use are Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gottman’s couples’ methodology, Eye Movement Integration, Positive Parenting, and other mental health techniques.

I am a first-generation immigrant and a Navy veteran. My experience in the military and work in child and adult protective services, foster care, adoption, and crisis intervention to families has given me the knowledge and experience to provide services and support. “I deeply believe that people do the best they can in the circumstances they encounter."
