Therapists » Psychological Associate
I offer a space for empathy, reflection and relatedness. Focus areas in my work include relational and acute trauma, depression, racing thoughts, perfectionism and relationship difficulties. I’m particularly interested in supporting individuals who have experienced loss, separation, displacement and those who find themselves navigating their way through cultural nuances or differences. I draw on psychodynamic and relational approaches. This means that I value an exploration of your early life experiences to better understand your current emotional distress and relational concerns. In addition, by engaging somatic experience in our work, I help you understand and learn to regulate what is going on in your body. Therapy provides relief of symptoms but can go beyond that by allowing a space for creativity, imagination and curiosity about oneself and the world. I’m committed to supporting you in your journey of healing, self-exploration, and self-expansion. I welcome individuals and couples as clients and conduct psychological assessment.
