Therapists » Marriage & Family Therapist
My name is Rosangela Dardon. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist that has strong values around social and environmental justice. I work with individual adults and adolescents and have experience working with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma-related difficulties, racial trauma, LGBTQI concerns, life transitions, grief, and relationship challenges. In my work as a psychotherapist I encourage a person-centered approach; meeting a client where they are and helping identify areas they would like to explore. This person centered approach allows me to use a blend of modalities tailored to each individual's goals. I integrate use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused and attachment theories and incorporate mindfulness techniques. I have experience working across all ages and with diverse communities. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and am culturally informed to support my clients to develop tools and insight they can use towards managing individual challenges. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and welcome and enjoy working with members of all communities and backgrounds.
