Hello, my name is Ron Offenstein, I am a California Licensed Psychologist, and I am trained and experienced in the evaluation and treatment of mood, anxiety, attention, and other psychological conditions arising from relationship and occupational experiences. I typically work with adults attempting to navigate relationships, family, and occupational conditions that have become overwhelming. I generally focus on reducing distress through finding coping strategies that work for an individual while increasing self-understanding. My focus is to understand a client's circumstances in a safe space and time that allows a client to focus on what they are comfortable discussing. I have had an interest in psychology since the first course in college with this evolving into evaluation and treatment of individuals. The first session is primarily focused on gathering information about a client, the psychological conditions they are experiencing, and what their immediate and near-term needs are. I encourage clients to identify goals they want to pursue.
