Ron Wood, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, believes difficult circumstances do not have to define us and there is the possibility of hope in every situation. For many years, Ron has successfully provided a safe, supportive and healing atmosphere for adults and teens who face a variety of issues including mental/emotional health concerns, relational issues, grief, trauma/abuse, disruptive and addictive behaviors, and substance use issues. Ron utilizes a person centered and cognitive behavioral framework for counseling. Additionally he is trained in the following evidenced based trauma treatment interventions: EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and Flash Technique. Ron also has specialized training in sex/pornography addiction. Ron is compassionate, culturally competent, and welcomes you to bring your faith into your counseling experience.
