From an early age, I was drawn to the stories of those around me. Listening to friends and family share their struggles and triumphs sparked a desire within me to pursue a career where I could make a meaningful impact. I earned my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where I studied various therapeutic approaches and the intricacies of human relationships. This academic foundation was further enriched through my internships, where I had the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including adolescents and adults facing emotional challenges and adults navigating life transitions. I am particularly drawn to person-centered and cognitive-behavioral approaches, as I believe they empower clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while developing practical strategies for change. My goal as a counselor is to foster a collaborative relationship where clients feel supported in their journey towards self-awareness and growth. As a passionate advocate for mental health and personal growth, I have dedicated my academic and professional journey to understanding the complexities of human behavior and the transformative power of counseling.
