"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom" -Anaïs Nin. There are times when we feel lost, confused, even fearful. Perhaps we find ourselves at a crossroads, undergoing life changing experiences. We want to deepen our relationship to all aspects of our lives, and may feel we know where we would like to be, but cannot find a foothold, or begin the journey alone. If any of these relate to your life situation, you are probably ready to enter into the therapeutic process. I view therapy as an inner pilgrimage, where client and therapist co-create generative portals of growth and transformation. My passion lies in nurturing the creative process inherent in each of us, with its capacity to transform, restore balance, foster connection, and facilitate the healing of the psyche. My style has been described as warm, interactive, direct, and non-judgmental. I use a variety of techniques, including arts-based, body-oriented, and mindfulness, to bring awareness to all aspects of lived experience-physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. “It is a joy to be hidden and a disaster to not be found”- D.W.
