About

I enjoy working with people to help them reach their potential in life. Many people live through difficult experiences which tend to negatively impact them and stunt their ability to move forward. My goal is to help you overcome these obstacles to help you flourish. Whether it is anxiety, depression, anger or fear, I will work on determining what the underlying cause of the distress is. Counseling does not have to be long term. Many of my clients have had success over a short period of time in counseling while others have needed long term support.

I have a strong background in working with people with trauma. I will help you overcome the struggles related to your traumatic memories. I also work closely with people who have difficulty with anger and/or violence.

I believe that addictive behaviors are a symptom of a greater problem. The goal is to address the underlying issue which will eliminate the need for the addictive behavior. Solely focusing on abstaining from the addictive behavior can be frustrating and is usually unsuccessful. We will look at the bigger picture.
