My ideal clients are individuals and couples who are struggling with life and relationship issues, those suffering with career burnout and compassion fatigue (healthcare workers, law enforcement, veterans, etc), those dealing with identity issues, those who have had traumatic/abusive pasts or are in crisis now, and addiction. I desire to use my innate capacity for authentic empathy to enter into another's pain. I listen to their story, help them understand themselves better and find balance. I can help clients to reclaim or define their real identity with the goal of finding meaning and purpose amidst suffering and struggle. I serve adults, couples, and teens with a myriad of issues and difficult experiences. I have personal experience with addiction, and have a soft spot for people who are trudging the road of recovery. As a former trauma nurse, I understand the healthcare world and love to help nurses, doctors, pharmacists, etc and other professionals who experience burnout. If you feel alone, misunderstood, unheard, hurt, exhausted, unappreciated, and grasping for meaning, I am a good person to talk to about it. I have had my share of those things and really want to reach those that feel like there is no one who "gets" them. Suffering and pain is unavoidable, but you do not have to go through it alone.
