I support adult couples of all varieties. Most of the couples I see have busy lives. They are smart and capable. They can usually figure things out themselves, but feel stuck about how to improve their relationship which doesn't feel good. Clients who have the greatest success in working with me have these things in common: 1. Courage to believe things can be better. 2. Readiness to embrace change. 3. Willingness to acknowledge their own part in the dynamics, and to learn new ways of being in relationship. I believe in the wisdom of each person who steps into my practice. I am honored to be part of vulnerable conversations where partners can be honest and authentic. My clients may start therapy in crisis or to address a rough patch. I guide partners to be real with each other, to be self-accountable, and to ask for what is needed. I have had struggles in past relationships so I know this can be difficult. I also know how great it can be to finally be able to say what needs to be said, even if you worry it's too hard. Couples I work with appreciate my straightforward, fearless, and gentle style. Clients report I am successful at staying neutral, and supporting their specific goals.
