Robert Townsend is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with three years of experience. He holds a Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity and a Master of Social Work from Radford University. Robert believes that the relationship between the client and the therapist is one of the most powerful factors to successful therapy and approaching the client with unconditional positive regard is of utmost importance if a client is going to feel comfortable in working with a therapist. Along with a person-centered approach, he uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address many issues that clients seek help for. In his spare time, Robert enjoys watching TV, walking, and spending time with his wife and two spoiled puppies.
