Dr. Robert Tella is a Clinical Licensed Psychologist and Certified Massachusetts Health Service Provider. He has worked in the field of mental health for over thirty years, twenty-four of which have been in his private practice of clinical and consulting psychology in Wellesley, Massachusetts. His background experience is extensive, encompassing inpatient and outpatient work at various Boston-area hospitals, serving children and adults, in addition to supervising and training of graduate students and interns. After completing his B.A. in Psychology at Boston College, Dr. Tella received both his Master and Doctoral Degrees in Counseling & Consulting Psychology from Harvard University. He completed his internship in Clinical Psychology from the Tufts-New England Medical Center Hospital in Boston. His private practice offers assessment, consultation and treatment of children, teenagers and adults. Treatment approach and modality are selected following an initial evaluation and are designed to meet the needs of the individual patient. Research interests include the psychology of secrets and secrecy.
