Welcome to my practice! Are you ready to move towards increased relational insight, self-discovery, and overall improved functioning? I offer counseling in a welcoming setting where you can experience what it's like to be seen, heard and validated without a fear of judgment. I view my clients as resourceful and resilient individuals who meet with me to collaborate towards set goals. In my practice, I avoid labeling or pathologizing, instead favoring a strength-based and holistic approach. My clients also know that I understand cultural differences and how these may impact our life experiences, relationships and the therapy process. My practice is grounded in the belief that successful therapy requires more than technique – the alliance between therapist and client creates the foundation for successful therapy. My work with clients includes relational, strength-based and solution-focused psychotherapy with the goal of increasing relational capacity and deepening self-awareness. Disconnection from others, ourselves and our purpose can be painful. We are often not prepared for major life transitions and therapy can provide us opportunities for growth by providing a nurturing space for healing and help us move towards hope, self-discovery, and improved relational functioning.
