About

My journey to becoming a therapist began with the inherent desire to want to connect and assist others on their healing journey. In my early 20's I spent seven years traveling the world which allowed me the privilege to meet people from different countries, backgrounds and cultures which was amazing in itself; however, for me it was eye opening. Despite the obvious differences, I discovered there were more similarities than not. All of us have the desire to want to evolve and be the best versions of ourselves however, we may need guidance along this journey to meet our desired outcome.

I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, from children to the geriatric population. I have specialized trauma training to include Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

I tend to utilize a direct, yet empathetic and sometimes challenging approach to therapy. My goal is to provide a therapeutic environment which offer a sense of safety and security as well as empowerment for the member to fully enggae in their theraputic journey.
