About
I fell in love with Atlanta more than 40 years ago when I went to Emory University to complete my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I am excited to offer my services to greater Atlanta and all of Georgia through my video-based psychotherapy and consultation practice. The thrust of the practice is on helping adolescents and adults address their personal challenges in route to living a more fulfilling life. Research on effective clinical practices and my 40 years of clinical experience will help us decide together what may be helpful to you. I utilize a variety of interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, emotion focused and other transdiagnostic and evidence-based approaches and treatments. I strive to create a safe space for my patients to connect emotionally to themselves and to me, fostering a secure attachment, and allowing for safety in taking steps towards meeting their unique challenges. Regardless of the presenting problems, we collaboratively assess, monitor and adjust treatment in a patient directed outcome informed manner.
