Although I enjoy working with all client types, my specialty is in substance abuse and codependency. I particularly enjoy working with adolescent and young adult males who are struggling with "failure to launch" issues as they make the transition to becoming responsible adults. My motto is "people will not care how much you know until they know how much you care." Building a positive client/therapist relationship sets the basis for growth. I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University and another Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville. My undergraduate degree is in Vocational and Community Counseling from U of L. Born and raised in KY, I prefer an honest and open "down-home" approach. When calling to schedule an appointment, clients will always speak directly with me to review presenting issues, payment methods, and scheduling matters. Working with me offers 100% direct client contact for all components of the process. My office is located close to Oxmoor Mall.
