My name is Rhonda Miller. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Georgia and Alabama. I work with people who have experienced trauma. However, the counseling approaches that I use are helpful with many people who are recovering from a divorce or who keep entering/ending relationships that don't work. During the Initial Intake and Interview, I ask clients these questions - What do you want to work on? How will you know that you have met your goals? What will be different about you when you meet your goals? I work with men and women who have primarily experienced sexual trauma. I also work with people who have experienced divorce and child custody battles. The environment that I create with clients is comfortable and safe. I respect my clients for trusting me with their sensitive and extremely personal information. When I was a child, I experienced trauma. I had no support, comfort, counseling, or just a listening ear. As an adult, I started counseling. My experience as a client has been fluid - I return "as needed." Most of the counselors I had were professional, safe, trustworthy, and easy to be in session with. I personally know the value of being heard and seen.
