I provide a nonjudgmental and compassionate atmosphere, in which you can safely explore and work feelings, thoughts, images, and beliefs that maybe keeping you from moving forward in life. I believe that for therapy to be effective, both you and I must be actively involved in developing treatment goals and assessing progress. Efforts to change self-perception, emotions and behaviors require work both in session and out of session. Therapy is a process in which you, the client gain insight, and tools that will facilitate continued growth and development after the counseling has ended. I provide individual, family, and group counseling services. I serve clients from the ages of 5 to 99 years of age. I assist clients in navigating their complex worlds in order to live a healthy life. My other areas of expertise include ADHD, Grief and Loss, Anger Management, Domestic Violence, Trauma recovery, Mood Disorder, Adjustment to medical changes. I adhere to the highest ethical & professional standards. If there is something that concerns you regarding any aspect of your treatment with me, please discuss it with me immediately. I approach counseling from a cognitive behavioral perspective; I would like to aid you in a better understanding of your problems and to assist in developing solutions.
