About

Welcome! Choosing a therapist is a thoughtful experience, and I hope to offer you comfort in sharing a bit about my background. I have been practicing since 2012 and have owned my own therapy practice since 2020 - Coral Canopy Counseling. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. Outside of my clinical work, I am passionate about advocacy and creating change systemically-including social injustices involving racial & economic inequality, and the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. Being a therapist is understanding that no one exists in a vacuum and that environment impacts mental health.

I use an eclectic approach in therapy including interventions such as CBT and DBT. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and am IFS informed (Internal Family Systems). I have continued training in Telehealth and can adapt modalities in therapy for virtual sessions. I offer Teletherapy in the state of Ohio.

I love to help my clients build on the resources they already have and work together in introducing new skills that can help them overcome the obstacles they are currently facing. I aim to normalize the human experience and enhance client resiliency. Currently I am accepting new daytime appointments.
