About

A trusting and collaborative relationship is essential in therapy, and it is my goal to provide my clients with a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere in which to explore their experiences, feelings and concerns. I work with adults who are struggling with a wide range of problems including anxiety, depression, procrastination and life stressors. In addition to addressing immediate concerns and problematic symptoms, I work with my clients to understand and change longstanding relationship patterns and sources of dissatisfaction so that they can achieve greater fulfillment, intimacy and resilience.

I actively engage with my clients to explore their problems, relationship patterns, life experiences and goals. In addition to helping clients to better understand themselves and develop new ways of coping with stressors, I also help people to explore their strengths and successes.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I am also an Instructor at Northwestern University Medical School, where I work with graduate students in clinical psychology. I treat clients with a range of problems in my private practice, and I have specialized training in hypnosis as well as treating serious mental illnesses.
