I see therapy as a collaborative process in which I listen to how you want to move forward with your goals. I always take time to really hear how you, as an individual or couple, want to make changes and respect your own choices in your life. We sometimes find ourselves repeating negative patterns or stuck in challenging situations but have difficulty knowing how to make lasting changes. Therapy can help make this clearer. My approach is authentic, warm, interactive and non-judgmental. I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples who identify as neurodivergent or on the autism spectrum and use my knowledge of neurodiversity to help adults with varying challenges including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and executive functioning difficulties. I am EMDR certified and have used this evidence-based approach to help with a variety of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD and others. I help individuals or couples understand how trauma or other obstacles have affected their lives and how to maintain self-compassion while learning how to overcome difficulties that have arisen as a result.
