With insight and compassion, I offer bilingual (Spanish/English) psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to people who are trying to better understand their relationship to intimacy, professional achievement, and struggles with depression and anxiety. I am a fully bilingual psychotherapist, born and raised and Peru, who has been practicing in New York City for 25 years. I bring particular sensitivity to issues of race and culture, and their impact on self-esteem and family conflict. Having worked with Latino patients from diverse backgrounds, I am able to help people work through the experience of being parented by immigrants, entering into bi-racial relationships, and negotiating racially motivated struggles in the workplace. I trained at Fordham University and completed post-graduate training in interpersonal psychotherapy. My approach is collaborative and warm, with an appreciation for the importance of humor, seeking to offer people a safe and illuminating place to heal and grow. Together, we can decrease stress and increase a sense of peace and self-confidence.
