Hi there, I'm Beka. I tend to work with people who might feel lost, stuck, and overwhelmed. A lot of my clients often struggle with not feeling good enough and find themselves trapped in people pleasing and striving to prove their worth. They tend to take care of others and put everyone else's needs above their own, which can lead to burnout, resentment, and depression. Co-dependency, low self-esteem, and societal pressures all collide to create a storm of expectations you can't live up to. It doesn't have to be this way. Let's get curious about what's not working, and learn more about what you need and how to improve your life. I'm super relaxed in sessions and try to provide a safe space to share and open up. I'm a straight shooter and pretty direct with my clients, but I promise to always treat you with kindness, compassion, and respect. I tend to work best with those interested in change, but you don't need to know the what and the how just yet, we'll figure that out together! While it's certainly not all I do, I have extensive background and expertise in working with addiction and related issues. I am a Licensed Addiction Counselor credentialed in Louisiana. A lot of my work involves supporting someone into or through the recovery process and/or with the family member(s) of the addict/alcoholic.
