About

I specialize in working with children, adolescents and young adults, helping them to get through whatever challenges they are facing momentary. Difficulties your child may be dealing with may include: depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviors, low-esteem, peer - or family conflict, as well as issues related to school and/or divorce.

I have worked over 15 years in various settings, including the school system, group homes and mobile crisis teams (including adults) with diverse conditions. In all cases, I take extreme care and compassion for your child by quickly getting to know them, understand what makes them ‘tick’ and develop a starting point for care.

My approach is practical, solution-focused and strength-based. Every child has strengths that I incorporate into treatment. Parental guidance sessions are offered (as needed), during which, you, the parent, are invited to join and talk about your parental struggles and successes. I welcome an opportunity to speak with you about your loved one.
