I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is affirming, collaborative and excited to work with you and your family. I use of animal assisted therapy, play, narrative and non-verbal processing tools to help families write new stories. With these tools, we can treat a variety of issues, from low self-esteem, challenging family transitions, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and ADHD. I enjoy working with families of all ages, but I especially enjoy working with teens as they go through such an important phase of life. I use creative tools such as creative writing, visual arts, sand play, music and storytelling in addition to traditional psychotherapy methods in working with clients. I am Level 2 Trained in Attachment Based Family Therapy, a model designed for suicidal and depressed adolescents and their families designed to help them manage a challenging phase of life. Over the years, I’ve worked in schools, churches and faith-based non-profits, providing services for people of a variety of faiths, as well as those without. As a client-focused therapist/therapy dog team, we will work with you and your family to create a customized treatment plan to help your family find solutions, meet your goals and get back to your life.
