Hi! I’m glad you are here! My name is Rebecca, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I enjoy helping children, teens, couples, and families navigate the stresses of life. The teen years can be a time of uncertainty for both teens and their parents. Family dynamics shift as teens seek more autonomy. My goal is to support parents and teens by using a systemic approach that considers their past experiences as well as providing strategies for better communication leading to a more positive relationship. As a former educator and dyslexia therapist, I understand the obstacles that neurodiverse children and teens face both in and out of school and in relationships. I offer support to help children and families understand the unique characteristics of dyslexia, ADHD, and anxiety, how their brain works, and how it impacts their daily lives. Whether counseling families, children, couples, or individuals, I believe that everyone deserves to be understood and validated. My clients will tell you that I create a safe, non-judgmental space for them to feel heard and that all responses are welcome in the therapy, including laughter. Please give me a call to see if I am a good fit for your needs.
