About

My academic and research foci have been in Health and Neuropsychology. I have specialized in providing evidenced-based treatments of eating disorders, chronic illness, anxiety disorders, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and trichotillomania and excoriation disorders. I have worked with military, government, and civilian populations, and understand the specific needs as associated with each individual.

I have been trained in the areas of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), enhanced cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT-E), Maudsley family based therapy (FBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), radically open dialectical behavior therapy (RO-DBT), and assessment. I have also worked with individuals with mTBI and TBI.

I look at each individual holistically, identifying both the biological and environmental vulnerabilities that contribute to, exacerbate, and cause the distress being experienced. I value collaboration throughout the therapeutic process, with an emphasis on setting goals as aligned with one's mental and physical heal, personal goals, and values.
