I work with adults in individual and couples settings across multiple life stages and environments. I focus on working with you to understand yourself, including how your thoughts and feelings influence your behavioral responses, and how to promote healthy and empowered conversation within relationships of all types. My approach to therapy is supportive, non-judgmental, and authentic. During our time together you’ll notice that I ask clarifying questions because I do not want to make assumptions about your experience. I prioritize customizing therapeutic approaches to how you respond to change and what your stated goals are using primarily CBT, ACT, and EMDR. Hamilton Counseling is about relationships; the relationship you have with yourself, with others, and with your therapist. I focus on working with you to build the life that you want for yourself through evidenced-based processes that invite self-reflection, insight, skills to implement change, and empowerment.
