Rebecca moved to Charlottesville in late 2016 from Manhattan where she practiced on the Upper West Side for many years with an emphasis on graduate/law students and new young associate attorneys. She is licensed in New York and Virginia and is in-network with Anthem Blue Cross and Anthem Health Keepers. Rebecca has post-graduate training at the New York School for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis and comes with varied work experience from the Karen Horney clinic, to the Arab-American Center in Brooklyn, to the Council on Foreign Relations. Rebecca's treatment orientation is psychodynamic in nature but she likes to think of it as practical! The most important part of finding a good therapist is feeling comfortable with that person. You want to feel confident that there is a good fit so shop around until you find the therapist that feels right to you.
