Feeling the way that you're feeling - whatever brought you to this page - is both very normal, and it is something that can and will change. I hope to help you learn how to embrace both the challenge and the beauty of being whoever you are in each moment. Across my work with clients we explore how the body and mind work; how sensations in the body affect how we feel, act and think; how to relate differently to suffering, thought, emotion, and experiences; and how to ease suffering and reduce symptoms. With considerable kudos for your efforts, the end result is a more enriched and fulfilled experience with living. I work with many cultural backgrounds treating suffering in its various forms. I tend to be particularly helpful for individuals that are ambivalent about therapy, who have been misdiagnosed previously, or who have had difficulty feeling "at home" in therapy. The majority of my clients have struggled with anxiety or depression. In our shared space, you will be met with warmth and kindness, respect, non-judgmental acceptance of whatever you bring in, curiosity, and flexibility. I provide people with what they need to feel accepted and safe for exploring whatever arises. You are not alone. I hope to help you experience that in a lasting and meaningful way.
