I work with adolescent and adult clients in individual, couples & family therapy. My personal philosophy is that through human connection, we can foster the encouragement needed to take courageous steps toward seeing an old pattern through a new perspective to create positive change. I use a strengths-based approach & believe in the inherent wisdom of each individual. Therapy thus serves as a road map, illuminating the path so the client can make conscious choices. My attitude is one of respect and acceptance of each client's self-image and world-view allowing for the creation of a safe, therapeutic container. My specialties include treatment of mood disorders, PTSD, addictions, and Ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP). Incorporating evidence-based clinical interventions along with a holistic approach that includes yoga, nutrition, meditation and trauma work. I use a mind-body approach for an individualized approach to facilitating recovery back to wholeness. Although my theoretical orientation is largely psychodynamic, emphasizing emotional experience as key to personality functioning, I use an integrative approach with clients, incorporating Jungian and analytical psychology, cognitive behavior therapy, and mind-body techniques to address the individual needs of each client.
