I'm happy your here! Hello, my name is Raquel. I am originally from Florida. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Florida A&M University. I am Licensed professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I have been working in mental health for 10 years and have been working as a therapist for 8 years. My background is working with children, families, and young adults. I consider myself as a person-centered therapist. I believe that the client is the expert when it comes to themselves. As a person-centered therapist I am here to help navigate and help you explore different sides of yourself that maybe causing distress. I also, like to focus on helping my clients learn new skills in order to feel more sufficient in life. As a therapist I enjoy working with individuals who are open to learn more about themselves from a different perspective and willing to try techniques or recommendations in order to improve their quality of life.
