I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. I intend to create an atmosphere where you can feel comfortable, heard, validated, and safe. I hold that each person is an expert of their own lives and I foster a safe, inclusive, and non-judgement space where you will be able to express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions freely. My belief is that healing is a process that looks different for each person and I am here to journey with you through every step. I treat issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, LGBTQIA+ issues, adjustments, men issues, sexual abuse, addiction/ substance use, immigration and racial trauma. I integrate CBT, mindfulness, DBT, TF-CBT Cognitive Processing Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I tailor sessions to meet each client’s individual needs while also incorporating their cultural and spiritual perspectives in the treatment plans that we create together. I am also LIFT (LGBTQ+ Institute for Family Therapy) certified. My approach is warm, person-centered, empathetic, trauma-informed, strength-based, solution-focused, and culturally sensitive. My practice promotes diversity and inclusion as everyone has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. I work with individuals from marginalized communities and various cultures/walks of life.
