Most people come to see me because they are struggling with emotional or personal problems that interfere with their fulfillment in love and/or work. I am interested in helping them grow their resourcefulness, become aware of patterns that are counter-productive and hard to shift, and develop more satisfying relationships. I like to work with adults of all ages, adolescents, and couples. The young adults and adolescents I see often have trouble navigating developmental phases with loved ones, or challenges with achievement. I continue to learn about new developments in my field, and regularly consult with other experts. The ability to maintain satisfying relationships with others is the basis of mental health. As a therapist, my goal is to create a reliable, strong, supportive relationship with my client that works as a model for their other relationships. We get to know each other, focused on how to develop collaborative, lasting relationships with others. Experience is a great teacher, and for over 28 years I have been helping different types of people overcome problems. I can help you improve your self-awareness, so that you may more freely choose new thoughts, feelings and behaviors for a more fulfilled, relational, and productive life. I invite you to give me a call to find out more.
