I like to use a collaborative approach when working with clients, and make every effort to creat a supportive environment in which the individual might discover untapped potential and inner strength. I have experience providing brief solution focused therapy, as well as extended treatment for serious psychological disorders.I believe that every person has unique talents and gifts, and an inherent right to self-expression.I believe that families come in all shapes, sizes, and gender configurations. I believe that children should be seen, heard, and believed. I specialize in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety, abuse and trauma, and in offering support to those experiencing grief, relationship difficulties, divorce, family conflict, and work related stress. Prior to the establishment of my private practice, I completed a fellowship program at Family Service & Guidance Center of Topeka. There I received specialized training in children and family therapy. I then worked with adults at Valeo Behavioral Healthcare, where I was indoctrinated in Family Systems Theory. Saturday and evening hours available.
