I know, emotions and feelings are not easy or fun to talk about, and they are definitely not always easy to feel. You may be feeling anxious, sad, lost, or maybe you can't even decide how you feel. You give so much of yourself to others, that you feel you have nothing left for yourself. My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and tailored to your needs. Together, we will identify the hard feelings, process the hard experiences, and learn skills and strategies to grow, heal, and feel better. (Sometimes, we may even develop strategies to deal with other people in life who won't go to therapy.) You are motivated to make changes to feel better, and have even tried what feels like everything, but you still feel stuck. Working together we will identify your strengths, and use your knowledge and skills develop healthy habits to make the changes you want. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use. Starting therapy can be scary and anxiety provoking, and searching through profiles to find a "good fit" is exhausting. I want you to know that my first goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and inclusive space, for you to share and feel comfortable.
