My therapy practice is based on the idea that everyone has the right to agency in their own life story. I believe that relationships have the power to be healing and transformative, and that a therapeutic relationship built on trust, curiosity, and empathy is the most important aspect of therapy. At the heart of my practice is the idea that therapy is a partnership in making space for hope, joy, and healing with each individual, and my work with clients is collaborative, anti-oppressive, and holistic. I serve children and adults and have experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, domestic and sexual violence, loss and grief, relationships, LGBTQIA+ individuals, families, parenting, and life transitions. My treatment approach is influenced by trauma-focused practices, polyvagal theory, play therapy, attachment theory, narrative therapy, neurodiversity paradigms, antioppressive frameworks, and incorporates art and creativity into my practices with children and adults. I am also an EMDR trained therapist and often incorporate EMDR into my trauma therapy work.
