About

I look forward to supporting you. My primary goal is to aid clients in balancing out overwhelming thoughts and emotions through therapy. I am a graduate of The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). I obtained my bachelor's degree in Psychology and minored in Sociology with a focus in Substance Abuse Studies. I continued at UCO to attain my master's degree in Counseling Psychology. While attending graduate school, I was also a clinician in training in the department ran counseling clinic under the care of the faculty.

I have extensive training in trauma informed treatments and I am a strong proponent of research, teaching, empowerment, and advocacy. I believe in providing empirically validated treatments in order to obtain measurable positive progress. I draw from several theoretical orientations based on client need.

Primarily, I utilize Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Exposure, and Dialectical Behavior Therapies. I absolutely love what I do and look forward to meeting you soon!
