About

Everyone experiences challenges in their life that can feel overwhelming. Seeking the help of a therapist during these times is a sign of strength, as it shows a willingness to address problems rather than avoid them. I offer solution-focused tools that you can begin to use right away. Using a cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approach, I will help you identify goals and acquire the understanding and skills needed to experience positive change in your life and relationships.

I work with couples, children and adults. My specialties include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, postpartum depression/anxiety, parenting, grief/loss, and life transitions.

My Ed.S. is in Counseling Psychology (James Madison University). I also have an M.S. in Family and Child Development (Virginia Tech). Additionally, I completed a pre-doctoral internship at Duke University Counseling and Psychological Services.
