I believe that every individual has the capacity to heal and create change in their lives; therapy is simply a space in which the individual can focus on the journey of change. My approach is client centered and strengths based. I believe that individuals naturally have a foundation of strengths and skills that can be built upon in a therapeutic setting. I am rooted in a holistic approach to therapy, which means I believe that there are often external and internal layers to life that may be addressed during treatment. This unique approach to counseling allows for clients to receive immediate feedback from our equine partners in the moment. At Milk Creek Ranch, we base our approach on the EAGALA model, but also incorporate a variety of interventions from other equine modalities.
