Managing relationships, balancing priorities, and maintaining a healthy and meaningful lifestyle can be challenging. Therapy is often a primary resource used to gain better insights that help us become experts on our own lives. I believe in a solution focused and motivational style to therapy, while collaborating and working together with my patient to meet goals and create successes. Living a more valued and meaningful life helps in symptom reduction and improves overall quality of life and happiness.
I work with individuals throughout the life span including adolescents, adults, and older adults. My work with couples involves different stages of relationships including dating, premarital, newlyweds, long-term, long-distance, and divorce. My specialties include relationships, coping skills, dual diagnosis, life/role transitions, anxiety, and mood disorders.
I want to create an inviting and warm atmosphere to begin building a relationship with you. Hesitancy to begin therapy is normal and making the first contact can be the scariest part. Finding a therapist that is a good fit is the most important and ultimately can impact success.
