"A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step." Ancient Chinese philosopher, Lao-Tzu. Let's face it: asking for help isn't always easy, but you've taken the courage to do so. Therapy is an exciting experience of self-discovery! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I work with adults, individually or as couples. I use a bilateral approach, incorporating a Strength-based practice with a focus on the mind/body connection, in particular Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT). I assist clients in noticing, when automatic processes are occurring & to alter their reaction to be more of a reflection. I specialize in anxiety and depression, helping clients respond to life's transitions and from past trauma. As a therapist focused on personal growth, I strive to make clients feel that I am part of their extended family. I assist clients in living their best lives, tapping into their fullest potential, and authentically being themselves. In my private practice, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential. If you're looking for extra support and guidance, during a challenging situation, or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals!
