My practice is built on listening compassionately, not being judgemental but empowering, and helping my clients develop the confidence to actively participate in their relationships. I do this through understanding their issues, their attachment style, and any diagnosed or undiagnosed disorders. We will work on setting boundaries, trauma response/reaction, and recognizing and verbalizing needs. I work with depression, anxiety, adult ADHD (diagnosed and undiagnosed) as well as family therapy, couples therapy, and divorce therapy with individual men and women, couples, and blended families. I am trained in Premarital therapy interventions and EMDR trauma therapy. I understand how life can feel like waves against a sea wall, unrelenting and constant. Sometimes we are able to withstand the beating, sometimes we feel like we will drown. My decision to become a therapist is to be a helping and steady hand when the pressure becomes too much, and a life preserver when the waves are overwhelming. I'd be honored to help.
