About

Psychotherapy can help you to transform your life! In a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, you'll learn how to break old patterns that keep you stuck, so that you can experience happiness, joy, and success in your life. By addressing the emotional issues that keep you from having a healthy relationship with yourself and others, you will develop self-acceptance, self-love and positive self-esteem. With consistent encouragement and support, you can overcome your problems, and heal emotionally inside so that you can reach your personal goals. Individuals raised in dysfunctional families grow up experiencing a deep emotional void and a sense of emptiness inside. They often have low self-esteem and suffer from anxiety and depression. As adults they may develop addictions such as alcoholism, substance abuse, eating disorders, and workaholism to anesthetize their emotional pain.

Author of the book, Adult Children of Alcoholics, much of my work focuses on helping individuals recover from addiction, depression and early childhood trauma. Through the use of insight oriented and experiential psychotherapy, I help clients to heal emotionally and to make positive and healthy changes in their lives.
