I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, and continued my education at Minnesota State University, Mankato, earning a my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. Currently, I hold a temporary associate counseling license (LAC), and practice under the supervision of Dr. Lancellotti while working towards independent licensure. I have a background working with adults across a variety of mental health presentations. I do have professional experience with concerns such as: anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, self-esteem, perfectionism, boundaries, and emotion regulation. I have also worked with adults in a group setting, co-facilitating mindfulness and peer support groups. My preferred treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I hold a strong interest in topics such as: interpersonal conflict, boundary-setting and communication, attachment, psychological flexibility, and emotion regulation.
