About

I see adults 21 and up, and seniors over 65, with a variety of behavioral health challenges: trauma, depression, anxiety, work, relationships, aging, adjusting to change, stress, motivation, isolation, women's and men's issues. I'm a dad with three adult children, two of whom are women. My female clients tell me they’re more comfortable with me than with a female therapist. Tap into my extensive certification and experience with active military, veterans, and family members. Reduce the effects of PTSD, depression, anxiety and trauma. Get tools to adjust to civilian life, and adjust to family life after your years of service.

Client feedback focuses on my warm, genuine, honest and personable communication style. Personal love and loss, divorce and remarriage, child custody resolution, and my own aging drove me to this helping profession. Because I chose my path later in life and worked hard to make it happen, I love my work and will treat you as if you're my only client.

I experienced emotional growth through a midlife career change to psychotherapy, after a distinguished career in radio and TV where I was widely known as a manager who hired and promoted qualified women and minorities first. I believe you have the right to choose a happy and fulfilling life, regardless of any obstacles you perceive. I'll help you get there.
