Psychotherapy offers a unique opportunity to examine issues that impact our quality of life. I help bring awareness to the source of emotional stress, help you with better self-understanding and more realistic expectations, while working together to arrive at solutions. I have had experience working with young adults, adolescents, children and families in various practice settings, including private practice, schools, hospitals and university counseling centers. Currently,my practice is mostly individual psychotherapy, as well as psychological assessment. I also provide ADHD and learning disability evaluations. I work with people who are trying to resolve a personal or family problem, overcome obstacles to achieving life goals, or are troubled by anxiety, fears, depression, anger or grief. This also includes life transitions and parenting. I see children, adolescents, young adults, families and new parents. As a bilingual, bicultural psychologist, I am also available to work with patients in Spanish.
