About

We all need security, acceptance, safety and understanding in our close relationships. Developing insight into our patterns, exploring our core values, and defining what we want and need in relationships can be overwhelming, especially when we don't know how to begin this process. I love meeting clients right where they are, and supporting them through the process of rising to life's challenges, defining and achieving their personal goals within the context of their close relationships.

Regardless of the "presenting problem," I enjoy working with clients to develop strategies for self-reflection, creative expression, emotional regulation and effective communication. I primarily use post-modern therapeutic approaches such as narrative and collaborative therapy, and I frequently incorporate parts work and concepts from the Gottman Method.

You have taken the first steps in beginning the process of deepening your understanding of yourself and your needs. As with any relationship, trust and chemistry are essential in developing a quality alliance between therapist and client. If you think we may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you!
