Hello. My name is Paul Tretbar, LCSW. My Florida License number is SW6808. I work with adults and adolescents who are dealing with life challenges, old and new, and desire a compassionate person to join them in their healing journey. I work with my clients using an eclectic approach, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Object Relations theoretical models. I try to meet people where they are and to use the therapy process to advance the goals jointly identified in gaining stability, freedom, and direction. I work to establish a bond of mutual understanding and to develop trust and confidence to be able to take the steps needed in order to grow and heal. I desire to make people feel comfortable, to feel understood, and to gain clarity regarding the issues they are facing. I wanted to pursue a career that helps others and that makes a difference in the world. I feel my spiritual relationship with God motivated me to give and to provide healing that is needed in many people's lives and that I would be able to provide based on my gifts and abilities.
